In the 21st century characterized by insecurity, economic instability and continuous turbulence in the labor market, the well-being of individuals and organizations seems particularly at risk. In a positive psychology perspective, it is fundamental to enhance the individual and organizational resources to deal with the complexity of the post-modern era and sustain the well-being of people, groups, and organizations. The most recent contributions from the two laboratories in Florence (Italy) will be presented, promoting a primary preventive perspective in the positive organizational health framework: Intrapreneurial Self-Capital, as a core of individual intrapreneurial resources to deal with the frequent changes and transitions to turn constraints into resources; acceptance of change, expressing the tendency to embrace change regarding acceptance as positive for a person’s well-being; positive relational management, as a resource for relational productive and positive adaptation in the contexts (respect, caring, and connectedness with ourselves and the others); workplace relational civility, as a relational style characterized by respect and concern for the self and others, and by interpersonal sensitivity (relational decency, relational culture, relational readiness) and an innovative mirror scale to intervene early using a primary prevention framework, before incidents of workplace incivility.
