≪Organizer Abstract≫
Misbehavior on an internet among youth including cyberbullying, internet addiction, online trolling, and overspending has been an center of the attention today. These online misbehavior can be considered to be related to people's online self-presentation. The online self-presentation are often classified into one of the followings: "real-name", "assumed-name", or "anonymous", and it is indicated that with assumed-name or anonymous, people are more likely to act negative behaviors owing to deindividuation and moral-disengagement.
However, on the other hand, it is also indicated that people can let it all hang out their real-self by hiding real social self. Furthermore, it is showed that some people who cannot find value of their ego are apt to addict into online world.
In this symposium, the effect of online self-presentation on various Internet problems will be considered and discussed.
