≪Organizer Abstract≫
As the multi-nationalization of the recent Japanese society progresses, a growing number of foreign students and workers are living in Japan. However, the number of interpreters who can handle the mother languages of those foreign residents is in short supply, so suggestions are solicited for any communication methods that do not require interpreters on many occasions. In this symposium, the methods that interviewers and mediators should use are planned to be examined from multiple perspectives based on the psychological evidences, taking a sample case where a vulnerable people in terms of communication faces an incident or accident.
