[Speaker] Minagawa, Naohiro:1
1:Naruto University of Education (Japan)

This study was conducted for two years. In the first year, the author analyzed a characteristic of the expression technique in the haiku that a child composed in Japanese language class of the elementary school fifth grade. When those child became a sixth grader, the author performed similar analysis. As a result, in the haiku composed by the fifth grader, a lot of expression technique such as anastrophe, literary style, metaphor, personification, a laborer in the rhythm, and the termination with a substantive were used, but the direct and colloquial expression were considerably observed. On the other hand, in the haiku composed by the sixth grader, a haiku with the expression technique mentioned above came to account for most, and it followed that the shifts from a concept of living to a scientific concept arising between two grade were reflected.
