Description
This symposium will cover various basic and advanced aspects of paediatric ophthalmic surgery. It will deal with updated data on corneal crosslinking in children, penetrating (PK) and deep anterior lamelar keratoplasty (DALK), techniques and outcomes of descemet's striping automated keratoplasty (DSAEK), goniotomy for congenital glaucoma, potentials and risks regarding the use of VEGF blockers in acute retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) and surgery for advanced ROP. The attendee will be able to broaden his knowledge on these clinical entities and provide optimal care for these children.
