The satellite symposium, which is supported by Bayer HealthCare, will feature presentations from three leading ophthalmologists. Professor Sebastian Wolf (University Eye Hospital Bern, Switzerland) will review anti-VEGF therapy in wet AMD, including a review of the VIEW trial of aflibercept. Professor Ramin Tadayoni (Lariboisière University Hospital, Paris, France) will consider the advantages and disadvantages of different treatment regimens for the treatment of wet AMD;namely fixed-dose, PRN and treat-and-extend. Finally, Dr K. Bailey Freund (Vitreous-Retina-Macula Consultants of New York, USA) will review long-term experience with anti-VEGF therapy and highlight new data on patients receiving a treat-andextend regimen.
