Description
The satellite symposium will focus on macular edema secondary to CRVO, both in terms of supporting trial data and clinician experiences of patient management. Professor Andrew Lotery (University of Southampton, UK) will discuss treatment approaches, including a review of the COPERNICUS and GALILEO clinical trials of aflibercept. Professor Anat Loewenstein (University of Tel Aviv, Israel) will consider which treatment regimen might be best suited for patients withmacular edema, as well as evaluating the rationale for early intervention. Professor Stephan Michels (City Hospital Triemli, Zurich, Switzerland) will close the symposium with a review of his personal experience with aflibercept in such patients.
