These new modalities will further refine small incision cataract surgery. Femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery, especially the new Catalys system, definitely enhances the safety and efficacy of cataract surgery. Tecnis multifocal toric IOL greatly expands the indication of presbyopia-correcting IOL. The preloaded OptiBlue IOL is the latest version of Tecnis IOL with highly sophisticated insertion system.
