Tenoplasty for Scleral Melt Following Pterygium Surgery

Objective/Purpose
Surgical procedure consists of several steps. First is preparation of the eye with peribulbar block followed by tractional sutures with 6-0 vicryl suture to rotate the eye. Scleral patch graft was performed to reinforce tectonic support to the sclera. Then tenoplasty was performed to bring the vessels followed by amniotic membrane and conjunctival covering. Fibrin glue was used to achieve the reconstruction.
