Implantation of the Intra Ocular Mirror Telescope in Phakic and Pesudophakic AMD Eyes: Patient Selection, Surgical Technique and Clinical Results

Medical treatments of AMD ia vailable only for wet type eyes while the vast majority of dry type AMD have no treatment. The implanted mirror telescope can be used for any type of AMD, at any stages of the disease and for phakic as well as pseudophakic eyes. A new patient selection program and the simple surgical procedure make it a good option for traetment of these eyes.
At the conclusion of this course, the attendee will be able to select patients suitable for implantation, use the special program for patient selection, understand the optical performance of the device, be able to demonstrate to patients the expected post op results, be familiar with the surgical technique, evaluate the clinical results', learn how to avoid possible complications. 3 leading surgeons will demonstarte the surgical technique.

Summary of Content/Synopsis of the course
Intra Ocular Mirror Telescopes can be used for phakic and pseudophakic eyes at any stages of the disease. Patient selection is performed by a unique patient selection program: surgical technique, clinical results and possible complications will be discussed.
