≪Organizer Abstract≫
Mythodrama is an approach in group psychotherapy and conflict management, which has been originally developed by Allan Guggenbühl in Switzerland. In Mythodrama special stories, often with shocking plots, are employed as mental movers to instigate change, in-depth reflection and gain new perspectives. Allan Guggenbühl will outline the basic ideas of Mythodrama and relate the experiences in out-patients clinics for children and adolescents as well as schools, which have implemented Mythodrama. Shen Heyong from China and Tomoko Ajima from Japan, we report how Mythodrama is being put in practice in China and Japan and what adaptions to the respective cultures were necessary.
Masayoshi Morioka will show his insight and knowledge as a discussantin our symposium.
