≪Organizer Abstract≫
In Taiwan academic circle, there is a phenomenological route to the enterprise of reflexive understanding toward human kind of being that meant clinical psychology professional practices can be not only applications of theories but rather be situated in actions generating insights into human existence in past decades. This symposium will point out the phenomenon of "cultural aphasia" in the practice of psychology in Taiwan previously, and then argue that the phenomenological psychology is essentially a return to the silenced life-world. Then, we propose the conception of praxical psychology that is extended from phenomenological psychology and can provide a proper horizon for professional practices. Finally, we debate the ultimate goal of psychotherapy and its training is strongly argued as 'not' to the termination of pathology, but rather the formation of self-other ethics. The praxical process should be based upon its ethical grounds rather than scientific contexts.
