Development of a support program for university students with difficulties caused by Inattention.

The purpose of this study was to develop an intervention program to promote the self-understanding and career decision making to university students with the attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (AD/HD) traits.
Design and Methods
Six third-year college students participated in "the planning skill up workshop focusing on attention" which aimed at the acquisition of planning skills and reduction of anxiety to promote career decision making. The workshop constituted of four 60-minute sessions. A session was carried out once a week.
As a result, students found this workshop effective in self-understanding of their inattention traits. Each student could select effective planning skills for one's traits. In addition, " anxiety" did not necessarily decrease.
