Psychosocial Intervention Model to Improve Vulnerable Groups For Landslide Disasters Psychological Well Being at Ciloto Cianjur West Java Indonesia

Natural disasters such as landslides in the area Ciloto Cipanas, Cianjur, West Java on January 21 2014, has caused suffering for local people. Based on the results of data mapping, there were 46 families or 213 people as victims of landslides and soil movement. The impact of landslides disaster, make local people have psychosocial problems. The study used a qualitative design based on case studies. Data collection through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, focus group discussions and questionnaire.

The results of field research is Self Esteem has an influence to their Psychological Well being. The model calculation is Self Esteem can explain 32,1% varians of Psychological Well Being. The final model of psychosocial interventions can be used in other areas in order to empower communities to improve their well being, so they have spirit and passion of their life to move forward and rebuild their future.
