The aim of this study was to examine the dynamics of evaluations as a component of thinking about themselves by the participants of the group psychotherapy.
The study involved 54 people from 23 to 35 years. Methods that were used: evaluation program, group personality evaluation. Mathematical treatment was carried out using the program «SPSS 19.0». The participants' evaluations were measured at the beginning, middle and end of the group psychotherapy. These data show that from the first to the third stages, the participants increased the evaluation of their personal qualities as a result of the development of the positive thinking about oneself. Thus, the group psychotherapy leads to changes in evaluations where the thinking about oneself takes place and that triggers the value-semantic structure of the participants' consciousness, creating conditions for the positive thinking about oneself and a positive attitude.
