EMOTIONAL CHARACTERISTICS OF STUDENTS DURING COLLABORATIVE THINKING ACTIVITY

The aim of this study was to examine the emotional characteristics of students during collaborative thinking activity. The article stresses the importance of emotional regulation of thinking activity.
The study involved 84 students from 19 to 23 years. Methods that were used: experimental technique of collaborative problem solving, a questionnaire by B. Dodonov and a questionnaire by C. Izard. Mathematical treatment was carried out using the program «SPSS 21.0». The results showed that altruistic and communicative types are the dominating types of the general emotional orientation among students. According to questionnaire by C. Izard for the students is characteristic the predominance of Gnostic emotions. It was identified that the students with the dominance of different types of emotional orientation during the process of intellectual problem solving had a different correlation of emotions. We identified four strategies of intellectual problem solving for which the representation of different emotions is characteristic.
