Further, in a lot of case, their performance is not bad and the maintenance is possible. The purpose of this study is to reveale the physical and psychological element of house that continue to be attractive for a long period of time. We selected SUZAKA(in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture) for a target place of research, residential area had house built at various age. The subjects were divided by the major (architecture or other).
As a result, the subjects who learn about architecture liked the older house, the other liked the newer house. On the other hand, regardless of the major, the older houses were estimated important and attractive.
