In Japan, after the recent implementation of the new law for regulating regenerative medicine, the landscape of stem cell-based medicine has been changing very rapidly. In addition, the world’s first clinical trial using patient iPSCs was started last September. Now an opportunity to lead the world has presented itself to Japan.
Speaking attending this symposium, we have 4 leading researchers in the translation of stem cell science into regenerative medicine and towards clinical trials. We look forward to vibrant and rewarding discussions.
